J. D. Fry Special Agent of the P.O.D. has given official notice that all letters sent by our express hereafter must bear a post office stamp or envelope.

By April 17, 1855 complants (about the U.S. Mail) were so common that an editorial appeared in the Alta lamanting the new postal arrangement whereby postage of 10cts was necessary in addition to Expr. charges.
