WCS Secretary, Scott Prior, was not headed to jail in this photograph, contrary to what the sign “Police Public Call Box” might indicate. Rather, Scott posed at the doorway to his office at home in Huntington Beach, CA upon receipt of the “Basil C. Pearce Award” for most outstanding article during the prior year. Scott’s wonderful article on Dodge & Company’s Express appeared in the March, 2019 issue of Western Express.
Actually, that is the door to my wife’s Dr. Who Tardis which I built for her and, yes it does lead to my office and philatelic library.
